Naziah Meets with the President of Fiji before leaving for South Africa
Finance Pacific's Miss India Fiji 2009, Naziah Ali delayed her flight to seek blessings from the President of Fiji, Ratu Josefa Iloilovatu Uluivuda.
SUVA - Wednesday, February 4 2009. Naziah, along with the Committee Members of the Miss India Fiji Pageant, Ranjit Raju, Nivriti Karan, Poonam Anand, Rajnil Kumar, CEO Mr Arveen Anand and staff of Finance Pacific Company Limited met with the President today at the Government house.
She presented the traditional sevusevu in her Ba dialect which impressed the President as well as the officials present. His excellency blessed Naziah and also advised Naziah to be careful and be a responsible ambassador of Fiji. He told her to use the wisdom given to her today along with God's guidance to make us proud by representing Fiji at the Miss India Worldwide pageant.
Naziah will leave for Durban, South Africa tomorrow afternoon. Miss India Fiji team members, Ranjit Raju and Nivriti Karan are also going to South Africa to support our queen and be a part of the Fiji entourage.

Miss India Fiji Committee Donates $500 to Fiji Sevashram Sangha
Finance Pacific's Miss India Fiji 2009 Naziah Ali along with Main Organizer of the Miss India Fiji pageant, Ranjit Raju donated $500 to Swami Samyuktanand at the Ashram in Suva . The money was raised at the Miss India Fiji pageant on January 17th at the Khatri Hall in Suva. The Sevasghram Sangha has donated about 30 tonnes of food (1,500 packets) and 3 containers of clothes already in the flood affected areas of Nadi, Lautoka and Ba. More money and clothes are on their way from Australia and New Zealand for distribution by the Fiji Sevashram Sangha. Naziah Ali Crowned Miss India Fiji 2009!
